Bristol

Bespoke kitchens fitted in Bristol

Bristol is around 105 miles from our London base. We take on a limited number of complete projects there at a time, so the team that starts the job is the team that finishes it.

In Redland and Westbury-on-Trym the classic project is a kitchen moved from a dark back room into a larger open-plan space with the dining room, often with a lower-ground-floor garden room in Clifton's sloping streets.

Our clients

Complete kitchens, planned around how you cook

Our Bristol work is mostly in Clifton, Redland, Cotham, Sneyd Park, Stoke Bishop and Westbury-on-Trym, for clients who value a finished result and a single accountable team over the cheapest quote.

Sneyd Park and Stoke Bishop houses are larger detached homes where clients ask for a main kitchen with a separate utility or boot room, which means extra drainage and appliance circuits we plan from day one.

Cost and time

Planning your budget

A refit in the same layout typically takes one to two weeks on site and a full renovation two to four. Use the kitchen renovation cost calculator for an estimate with VAT, or see the full scope on our London kitchen refurbishment page.

Local know-how

Before you start in Bristol

Bristol is in a hard water area, so kettles, boiling-water taps, dishwashers and washing machines scale up faster. We can fit a scale inhibitor or a filter tap on the kitchen supply while the plumbing is open.

Gas hobs are connected by our gas engineers and new cooker circuits are notifiable under Part P. Structural openings go to Bristol City Council building control or an approved inspector.

Clifton and much of Redland are conservation areas, so changes to the front of a house usually need planning permission.

What we do

Boiling-water and filter taps

Questions

Kitchen refurbishment in Bristol: your questions

Can you add a utility room as part of a kitchen project in Bristol?

Yes. A separate utility or boot room needs its own drainage and appliance circuits, which we plan together with the main kitchen.

Do you work in Bristol?

Yes. We take on complete kitchen refurbishment projects across Bristol, including Clifton, Redland, Bishopston, Southville, Totterdown and Henleaze, and in Clifton, Redland, Cotham, Sneyd Park, Stoke Bishop and Westbury-on-Trym.

How much does a new kitchen cost?

It depends on the units, worktops, appliances and layout changes. Our online calculator gives an estimate with VAT, and the survey turns it into a written estimate.

Will I have a kitchen during the work?

Not for the whole time, but we can keep a temporary sink or tap working where possible.

Can you put a hob or sink in an island?

Usually yes. The waste needs enough fall, the hob needs its circuit and extraction, and we plan both before the floor goes down.
