Luxury bathroom fitters in Cardiff
Plumbery is a London company. We travel to Cardiff, about 130 miles away, for complete projects rather than small repairs, and keep one project lead as your contact throughout.
Pontcanna and Llandaff have large Victorian and Edwardian houses with tall rooms and original features. Bathrooms there are often moved into a bigger bedroom with a separate shower enclosure and a freestanding bath.
Our clients
Bathroom projects across Pontcanna, Llandaff, Cyncoed, Lisvane, Radyr and Penarth
Our Cardiff work is mostly in Pontcanna, Llandaff, Cyncoed, Lisvane, Radyr and Penarth, for clients who value a finished result and a single accountable team over the cheapest quote.
Cardiff has soft water, so limescale is rarely an issue, and natural stone and brass fittings keep their finish well; the main check is pressure on upper floors.
Cost and time
How much and how long
A typical family bathroom takes around 7 to 12 working days on site. Use the bathroom renovation cost calculator for an estimate with labour, materials and VAT, or see what a full refurbishment includes on our London bathroom refurbishment page.
Local know-how
Good to know in Cardiff
Cardiff has soft water, which is kind to taps, shower valves and glass, so limescale is rarely a problem. The bigger question in older houses is usually water pressure, which we check before choosing a shower.
Electrics follow the BS 7671 bathroom zones and new circuits are notifiable under Part P; we test and certify them. Building control, where needed, goes to Cardiff Council or an approved inspector.
